for over 30 years, selling unique and rare minerals to collectors, decorators, retailers and museums around the world. Our staff has many years of experience in the wholesale and retail mineral business. Annually, we participate in the country’s two largest gem and mineral shows – in Tucson and Denver. In February, at the Tucson show, we can be found in the large ballroom of the Inn Suites Hotel Lobby and in September, at the Denver show, we can be found in the Holiday Inn Central.
The company’s owner, Thomas Nagin, acquires and imports minerals from all parts of the world, including Bolivia, Brazil, Peru, Colombia, Mexico, India and the United States, and has owned quartz mines in Arkansas and Colombia. Traveling directly to the mines of South America and India, he develops and maintains personal relationships in mining communities and with mineral dealers in many of these countries.
While searching for rare and unique minerals, Mr. Nagin also has the opportunity to purchase work from artisans in communities throughout the world who produce sculptures, wood and mineral carvings, hand-woven textiles, gold & silver jewelry, butterfly displays, furniture, fine art and many other unique items. We maintain relationships with these craftsmen and their finest work can be found in our Gallery.
Opened in 2001, Crystal Springs Gallery is located in the center of the downtown historic district of Hot Springs, Arkansas. Currently rated #4 in The 100 Best Art Towns in America, Hot Springs is a thriving arts community where visitors come from around the world to experience the healing waters of the hot thermal springs and fountains. Our gallery is just one block south of historic Bathhouse Row.
Crystal Springs Mining Company manufactures gold and silver jewelry in Mexico and works with a Colombian jewelry designer to create one-of-a-kind pieces which can be found in our Gallery. The Gallery also features the work of local artisans, collector-quality and decorator minerals, polished and faceted stones, and natural and polished fossils.
